The term of fair trade has grown globally, in concern to better life for the farmers, consumers, and environment. What we know is that the threat from speculators could endanger the business’ value. Moreover, we have to reconstruct the way of business with farmers, who are the people who own resources. New interactions with regards to farmers’ well-being and development must be professionally undertaken.

Based on these principles, Agrorina strives to become the tree of fair market. We work hard to be an immediate bridge not only to link between farmers and end-users, thus ensuring farmers’ prosperity. In order to do so, we work together with farmers to create additional value to their commodities. We conduct continous education for the farmers to create good product for broader market by implementing the use of efficient technology and education related to farming, cultivating, processing products, and market chain. Our concern to fair practices also obliged us to be committed to avoid the high use of chemical material which is harmful to environment.

The vision of agrorina is to optimize the tropical agriculture products directly from local source with traceablility, sustainability, and fair price between consumers and farmers. Our activities are as responds to market - to procure the tropical commodities more ethicaly to revamp the management of value chain from farmer to market, and to raise the farmer incomes and develop the technique of processing which involve rural communities. The establishment of the connection between farmers and central market through sharing knowledge between all parties involved is also one of the goals of to Agrorina, asit will boost the production levels of plantation and guide the new method of good agricultural practice, especially in herbal commodities. The project will encourage the organic practice for certifying the farmers and their communities.

Therefore, onsmall processors’ level, improvements will be applied on their production techniques, as well as being an integration with the management of raw materials. There will also be an implementation of the new model of harvesting techniques and post-harvest practices, using of organic fertilizers, and intercropping. As consequence, a fruitful agriculture as the business for rural communities and ensure the sustainability of agriculture production can be promoted as an opportunity to create jobs for people in rural areas.
